Ellen Rienstra, "Stradivari Siren of the Sabine", the pride of Mauriceville, Rosedale and Voth, is a violin virtuoso who has been creating beautiful music from Beaumont to Brussels (Kansas) for most of her adult life. A child prodigy, she was born with the ability to bring tears when hearing her play, and she hasn't lost the touch. In keeping with the "folk" nature of the concert, she borrowed a pair of black lizard boots from a cowboy friend to complement her normal classical attire. Unfortunately, he forgot to tell her they were size 13's. Trooper that she is, she never did let on and just continued to walk "that" way. |
